CBB Betting 11/4/24

CBB is back!!!

Football has been a printing press for us for the last few years, and is my most profitable sport, but CBB is probably my favorite at the end of the day. Monday is the first night, while NFL and CFB are still in full-swing we will be easing into CBB. Once CFB regular season ends and bowl prep rolls around we will gradually ramp up our CBB action. Overall, it was a great betting weekend for us going up 7 units in CFB and a little over 1 unit in NFL.

Last season was a “down” year for me in CBB and I still profited over 16 units all things considered. The season prior to that, I was at +40 units.

Princeton First Half -6.5 -112 (FanDuel)
Princeton Full Game -11.5 -114 (FanDuel, I took this at -110 and it already moved so grab quick when you see this)
Duke -29 -110 (DraftKings)

Princeton is my favorite spot on the opening night slate. This team has been a wagon for us the last few years, and have a ton of returning talent including Xaivian Lee who is an NBA talent in my opinion. Iona is in year 2 under Tobin Anderson, who completely overturned the roster this off-season. Per my notes, they don’t have one singular player back from last season. I believe he is a good coach, but it’s tough for me to trust an ENTIRELY new roster on opening night. They should get better as the season rolls along and I’ll bet on the experienced team here. I think Princeton comfortably wins this one.

As for Duke, I don’t really ever lay big numbers like this but I think they should beat Maine by 35+ here. Maine plays slow so if they dictate the tempo that could work against us, but this Duke team is absolutely loaded and they are likely to come out with a bang on opening night. They also have so much size compared to Maine it’s not even funny. They are very deep, and their bench is more than capable of keeping up scoring once the starters are pulled, as well. BOL!
